Downtown Artists is an artist management and development company based in Soho London. Downtown aim to discover new and emerging artists to collaborate with and develop to a point where they are ready to take their carer in the industry to the next level.
Downtown Artists are excited to announce the next instalment of the Downtown Artists Showcase at the new location of THE SOCIAL.
The night will feature a cross section of the Downtown roster with both established acts and new signings performing live

African-born electro popper Ozonna may have chosen an unusual way to market himself, but in today’s hyper competitive music industry it pays to be original. Even pop queen Lady Gaga used to have to stand scantily clad on tables in bars, screaming along to Black Sabbath records to get noticed. Following a string of support dates with the likes of We Have Band and Kyla La Grange, Ozonna is headlining the our showcase event .

My Youth, a new and exciting folk and indie duo / band based in London, England. Having influences such as The National, Arcade Fire, The XX , and Bon Iver they have created original songs that are both upbeat and heartfelt as well as being instantly relatable and accessible. Having secured a sync deal with Italian company happy socks and playing regularly around London and beyond My Youth have been turning many heads in what is still the early stages of the band. Big things to come.

Tree Pit VS. Tree Bit New Video
Tree Pit vs. Tree Bit, the live remix embodiment of this cutting edge indie rock band. Tree Pit are a three piece band, based in London via Israel and following a string of gigs across the capital embarked on their Tree Bit side project. With two of the band already being producers, moving to live studio remixing of their guitar sound was a floorless transition. Add into the picture a further two extremely capable musicians/ beat masters and you have a 5 piece live electronica entity.
Tree Bit have currently laid down two live remixes of tracks featured on the forthcoming Tree Pit EP (to be released on 9th April, 2012), both recorded and filmed at Play Studios in Soho, London. The live studio remixes can be viewed here, extremely intense and claustrophobic yet effortlessly epic and true to their original beauty.
Tree Bit is just a glitch in the matrix of Tree Pit but what a wonderful technological twist it is.
